Coloras Colors
Grades Pre-School-
Kindergarten
This series for pre-school and Kindergarten is a
playful, interactive romp into the world of colors.
Colora is a perky paintbrush who cheerfully mixes
up colors selected by a spinning color wheel and
then applies the color to appropriate drawings that
spring to life. The color wheel and distinguishing
between primary and secondary colors are concepts clearly presented in these ten 90-second clips. The programs are highly interactive, inviting viewers to respond to the action on the screen.
Produced by Destiny Images 2002.

AIT READ!
Grades Pre-teen-Adult
Easy-to-use CD-ROM computer software teaches basic reading
skills. Using computer graphics, a narrator leads the student
through each stage of the reading process. Each lesson is a building
block that gives the student the skills necessary to proceed to the
next book. Exciting and challenging activities reinforce each books
key concepts and let the student increase the difficulty level as skills
improve and allow the student to work at his or her own pace.

With an Introduction by Dr. Paul Levinson,
author of Digital McLuhan
Taming the Beast is a rare blend of philosophical reflection,
earnest wit, and hard-nosed guide. It casts a discerning eye on our
love-hate affair with technology; reveals 27 ways to see, evaluate,
and gain control over the electronic and mechanical extensions
that have become such vital parts of our lives; and shows how we
can choose new machines wisely for educational, business, and
community use.
