Our reproduction underhood insulation pads are die-cut from a charcoal gray material that is very close to original. We are now using the original style 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 square insulator clip for the early cars and the round clip for the later cars. Comments: Very good. The outline material and hole locations are excellent. The product does not have the material compressed in the small areas around the perimeter like the original, but does have a rigid backing for added strength. With time small sections of material may separate from the pad. Many customers have avoided this by spraying with satin clear before installing.
