Law enforcement, whether as a line police officer, deputy sheriff, marshal, or state traffic officer, offers a rewarding opportunity to serve society. Specialized officers such as game wardens, forest rangers, or criminal investigators make unique contributions throughout our state and nation. They investigate crime, present cases in court and render other service to the justice system and the people. Nelsen Ronald Shreves Harmon Dan Watters Program Description The administration of justice courses provide the student with a broad base of knowledge and proficiencies in the general area. Distinctive Features Except for Introduction to Law Enforcement, Administration of Justice courses are offered only during evening hours. Instructors are credentialed law enforcement personnel. Certificate Program Certificate not applicable Associate Degree The minimum major requirements for an associate degree in Administration of Justice may be satisfied by completing 18 units. Of these 18 units, 12 units must be from the list of core courses. The remaining 6 units must be from Law Enforcement, Traffic Enforcement, Probation, or Corrections options.
