Introduction to the necessary fundamental elements of HTML and Java language for adding Java aplets to web pages. A central focus of the class is to introduce the basic fundamentals of Java aplets required to make minor modifications to existing Java Text, Image and Animation aplets, and to enhance the ability of the artist to communicate effectively to a professional Java programmer. This course is taught on Macintosh computers. Introduction to the production of Object Reality (OR) and Quick Time Virtual Reality (QTVR) 360-degree panoramic image environments for the Internet. Covers current software applications used in conjunction with digital cameras and other necessary hardware to develop both QTVR and OR objects linked on Internet pages.
