Arch/BMS Secondary Metal-Bladed Cleaner
T
he Arch /BMS Secondary Metal-Bladed Cleaner
is designed and manufactured with a sturdy and
robust construction that is able to perform effectively in
the most demanding of operating environments. The
torsion holder assembly of this cleaner assures a clean
belt surface on the return side and cuts down on costly
material waste, clean-up costs, and down time. The
Arch/BMS Cleaners are suitable for use in all areas of
carryback spillage and embody the highest quality
components. Since the Arch/BMS design requires low
blade pressure on the belt surface, the life of the blade
is considerably prolonged. A variety of blade types are
available to suit customer requirements, and
polyethylene deflector skirts are standard. The holder
torsion assembly provides stability to the blade to
allow for continuous scraping contact as the blade
tracks the moving belt. The Arch/BMS standard and
heavy-duty cleaner torsion mounts provide constant
pressure with minimal maintenance, and the mini
cleaner has a fixed lug for manual adjustment.
Supplied in pre-assembled form, this cleaning system
requires only four (4) mounting bolts to attach to the
conveyor structure. Easily understood installation and
operating instructions ensure minimum down time the
essence of cost effective engineering. The cleaning
action of this metal-bladed cleaner peels away the
carryback material and deflects it into the main flow
stream using a low scraping pressure. Less pressure longer belt life, longer blade life.
