Page 45 of Military Helicopters by Boeingmodel ch-47 glass cockpit course length 3 weeks maximum student load 6 glass cockpit course h7-u-50 off-site only domestic international $30,100 $39,474 objective upon successful completion the student will be able to safely and efficiently perform organizational line maintenance on the ch-47 glass cockpit system the student will be able to visually inspect troubleshoot and operationally test the ch-47 acms using special tools built-in test bit data bus test set in accordance with the techniques procedures and practices established by the boeing company recommended for this training is recommended for supervisory and unit line electricians responsible for maintaining the ch-47 glass cockpit system prerequisites students should meet the following skill and experience level 1 prior experience in avionics maintenance basic knowledge of stability augmentation systems and automatic pilot systems 2 detailed knowledge and experience in ac and dc electrical theory and circuits 3 detailed knowledge and experience in analog digital and solid state electronics and integrated circuit devices course content the course will provide the students with an introduction to the glass cockpit system including tandem rotor helicopter flight principles system description/purposes glass cockpit interface and system block diagram analysis component level description location theory of operation and maintenance of all glass cockpit inputs sensors and processing will aid the student in understanding system interface avum maintenance practices including glass cockpit operational test built-in-test bit and the use of the data bus test set using the proper tools and technical manuals will be covered in detail in the classroom and performed on the aircraft 31[close] |
