You should have three lights on both sides of the trunk (trunk light, kit #3);, and (Rear Reflector #4) These are the basic light kits for your 88-2000 GL1500. All are easy to install. You may want to get the fairing or (front flasher kit, #2222) and (Trunk, #2223) to install at the same time. These kits allow the fairing lights and trunk lights to flash along with the turn signals for better visibility and safety. The last basic kit is the (cornering lights #5).
