107 AREAS OF STUDY History The Associate of Arts degree in History combines a strong theoretical foundation in history with the necessary general education courses needed for transfer with junior standing to all Arizona universities and to virtually all others. To ensure seamless transfer, students must develop their specific program of study in close coordination with a Cochise College advisor. In addition to preparing students for a teaching career, history provides an excellent background for careers in education, law, business, social work and government. Hospitality The Associate of Applied Science degree in Hospitality Administration combines a firm foundation for employment in hotel administration with general education for students who plan to continue their studies at a university. This degree program has been completely articulated with Northern Arizona University.
