MUSIC DEGREE: ASSOCIATE OF ARTS DIVISION: ARTS AND HUMANITIES/CITY PARK CAMPUS The music program offers two concentrations which are designed to develop skills leading to a degree in either classical performance/education or in jazz studies; the program includes courses in studio recording techniques. The program is engineered for either transfer to a four-year institution, for potential employment in the music industry, or for personal enrichment. Many of the course offerings utilize a state-of-the-art Macintosh computer lab with full MIDI stations and a wide array of software for the development of music theory and listening skills.
