the lodge team liz and alton bain are the joint owners and managers of mangrove cay club they were instrumental in the creation of the lodge as well as nurturing all the little details that have made mangrove cay what it is today alton is a bahamian and liz a canadian and they have made andros their home since 1990 they have had extensive previous experience in operating lodges and mangrove cay club is the result of all they have learned about how a lodge should be run chef iyke moore with whom they have worked for many years supports liz and alton iyke is continuously recognized for his culinary genius particularly with seafood he personally chooses his entrees from the local boats that come to the dock with their fresh catch iyke balances his menus with a varied style to please a broad array of tastes and preferences the rest of the lodge staff is comprised of a team of eleven who help liz and alton ensure that the lodge and equipment are kept in perfect order ourguides ta f f led by
