Porsche Moments
by Jesse Alexander
Legendary photographer Jesse
Alexander produced some of his most
indelible Porsche images between
1953 and 1962. During that time he
lived and worked in Europe, driving to
the races in his Porsche Super 90
coupe, which he bought directly from
the factory. He would return his car to
Stuttgart for maintenance, and this
increased his familiarity with Porsche
technicians and particularly with
racing director Huschke von Hanstein.
Thus began a strong relationship with
the people and drivers of Porsche,
which is reflected by the intimacy and
access of his photographs. Though
best known for his b w work,
Alexanders early colour work is also
featured in this book.

Porsches racing over four decades,
including preparing all 16 Le Manswinning cars. Filled with detailed
