The primary use of the table is for homeworkers who have the restriction of living and working in the same space. The table has two levels, the top one made of glass and the bottom one made of wood. The glass has a sandwich of liquid crystal sheet that is naturally translucent but will become transparent when an electric current passes through. After working during the day, all the work can be put on the lower wooden shelf and hidden away by the glass top in its translucent state until the following day.[close] |
