The merchandise has a dual purpose: to be used internally within the Prison Service and to be branded, packaged and sold to the public creating revenue that can be reinvested in prisons. An active concern is the increased self-worth and confidence of the prison inmates through working on the production of a high profile, high quality brand of products. This will have a direct and beneficial effect on their present working lives and future work prospects when released. The range includes tableware, tables, chairs and clothes, all with strong branding that is honest about the origins of the products.[close] |
