The project aims to create a sense of community amongst these parents, through empathy with the experiences being recounted on film. It offers an insight into this socially invisible area to the people who make important transport decisions, as well as the general public. When shown on television or in support groups and community centres, the film enables discussions and exchanges to develop between individuals, allowing parents and carers to discover new feelings of confidence, self-respect and hope.[close] |
