25 Pratap Bose coming full circle Masateru Fukiwake backpack clothing In recent years, the personal car has been branded the cause of urban decay and alienation. This project attempts to change the perceptions of the car in the city through reinterpretation of form and function. An LCD screen informs passers-by of local information such as theatre listings, thereby taking the car back into the social fabric of the city. By looking at some of the extreme needs of space travel, this project relooks at the clothing and equipment travellers of today need. The function of a backpack and a sleeping bag is integrated into the clothing giving greater flexibility and more practicality to urban travellers of all ages.
