Fundamental GIS concepts will be explored including querying a GIS database, manipulating tabular data, editing attribute data, presenting data effectively using maps, and understanding the basic data "behind the scenes" of a map. Participants will learn how to use ArcMap , ArcCatalog , and ArcToolbox , and will discover how these applications work together to provide a seamless GIS software solution.
