Material For fabric tops, Sun-Fast resists shrinking, sagging and billowing at speed much better than the lower-priced Stay Fast material (both are US-made by Haartz), and is far superior to canvas. In vinyl, we look for quality and thickness. Haartz supplies a US-made 36-oz. vinyl that clearly outlasts the imported vinyl in many lesser tops. 2. Rear Window Be certain the window material is UV- and scratchresistant. In our experience, a Poly One B.U.V. Ultralight window really stands up to sunlight and repeated folding. 40-gauge thickness is optimal. 3. Fit Finish A quality top that fits perfectly adds value to your car.
