On 1976 models, you must inspect the discs to determine whether your car has early or late ones. Drawings appear above. Alfa Romeo had several recalls to replace flex discs. Many Alfettas have had them replaced. Metal bands shown discs are removed after installation. They will not appear on your car. If the rubber doughnut is split, torn or dry-rotted, it should be replaced. Our flex joints will reduce vibration. Original Italian. 602309 Flex discs come with a metal band.
