e65 70 Rack and Pinion Kits, Power Steering
Now you can have power rack and pinion steering for modern driving
comfort. You will certainly appreciate it when parking. These power
kits feature a variable pressure pump for true driving performance.
The cradle mounts in the original chassis location. No suspension
modi cation is required and the center support does not have to be
removed. In addition to everything in the manual steering kit, the
power kit substitutes a power rack and pinion, a pump complete
with mounting bracket, ttings, and a billet power steering reservoir,
which includes a baf e to prevent foaming. Outer tie rod ends must
be purchased separately. Power steering kits can be purchased with
or without a tilt column.
Wiring connectors, horn relay
new oor plates are included for ease of installation.

NOTE:
1) Front end alignment is necessary after installation.
2) Even though the stock outer tie rod ends will be used for most kits
K.A.R. always recommends that you purchase new outer tie rod ends.
3) 65-66 Mustangs with power steering must use manual tie rod
ends with all of the 4 kits listed above.
4) Kits that do not include column require modi cation to your
original column.

e65 70 Power Rack and Pinion Versatile Kit
This Power rack and pinion kit is the most versatile kit we have in
stalled thus far. We have installed this kit on Mustangs equipped with
5-speed manual transmission and automatic transmissions as well.
We have also tested long tube headers until we found headers that
perform well and clear perfectly. We like the way this kit is engineered
for placement and t. This system functions well with your existing
power steering pump or it can be purchased with a pump included.
If you want your classic Mustang to steer like a modern driving ma
chine, then this kit is for you.
NOTE; Not yet available for Mustangs equipped with a 4-speed
manual transmission due to Z-bar obstruction. A kit that solves this
problem will be available soon.
NOTE: Mustangs equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission must
use a cable clutch system or a hydraulic clutch system.

This conversion kit includes everything needed to convert a stock
car with drum brakes to 4 piston disc brakes. All kits include
which have stainless steel pistons and coated with special
steel type paint, stainless steel caliper crossover brake lines,
splash shields, bearings, pads, master cylinder, hoses, and all
