It is also virtually impossible to know and understand all the mechanical and clearance issues you will face and how to overcome them. K.A.R. has physically performed this AOD conversion in our shop. We have assembled a complete gturn keyh kit. We have also encountered all the issues and learned how to overcome them. TECH TIPS: 1. Most long tube headerswill not clear the AOD transmission on a classic Mustang. K.A.R. used Hi-Po exhaust manifolds and a custom H-pipe on our installation. At K.A.R., we have also performed an AOD conversion on a Mustang with long tube headers.
