A Watts linkage is a locating device. Its purpose is to prevent sive lateral movement of the rear suspension during aggressive ing. It is commonly used on cars with solid axel suspension, classic Mustang. The Watts linkage will prevent excessive lateral suspension movement while the leaf springs work longitudinally also spring the axel. The combination of performance leaf quality adjustable rear shock absorbers, and a Fays2 Watts will result in a classic Mustang that corners at without a rubbery feel.
