Smooth-shifting 6-speed transmission has a gear for every situation, from low-speed city traffic to highway use. The transmission features Kawasakis exclusive positive neutral finder that makes selecting neutral at stoplights a breeze. At a stop, just lift up on the shifter from first gear and the transmission stops at neutral every time. Chassis Bottom-Link Uni-trak rear suspension lowers the center of gravity for better handling. Progressive rate action provides a smoother, more controlled ride. Lightweight, aluminum, perimeter frame is amazingly rigid for sharp handling. No down tubes for lower engine placement, lower center of gravity. Standard equipment centerstand eases maintenance and parking.
