KLX110 2006 Model Information KLX110A6F MODEL CONCEPT Aimed at youngsters in the 4~12 age group, the KLX110 is designed to teach young riders safe riding techniques while introducing them to the fun of off-road riding. Although it features racy styling and bodywork, the KLX110 is a play bike that might be best described as a mini-enduro. The KLX110 is kid-friendly with features, such as a semi-automatic, three-speed transmission, neutral-only starting, adjustable throttle, heat shields and lower chain guard, all of which make it a great bike for young, first-time riders or kids upsizing from smaller bikes like the KDX50. Powering the KLX110 is a horizontal, 111cc, air cooled single. Electronic Capacitor Discharge Ignition (CDI) ensuring strong spark when riding fast or slow. With specialized cam timing and Keihin PB18 carburetor, the KLX110 delivers smooth, responsive low and midrange output. The lightweight chassis uses a backbone tube frame of high-tensile steel tubing and the braced swingarm runs a single shock like the big racers. Up front, the 30 mm front fork features a lightweight aluminum upper triple clamp and runs with plenty of travel for soaking up the bumps. Racy motocross styling comes courtesy of body work borrowed from the KX65. The KLX110 gets kids started out right in off-road riding.
