Tank-mounted ignition switch looks great and enhances convenience. The ignition switch allows ON-position key removal, preventing key bunches from damaging the tanks lustrous paintwork while the bike is in operation. Turning the ignition switch collar to the off or the park position (illuminating the tail lamp) turns the engine off and necessitates re-insertion of the key to restart. Tank-mounted electric step-motor speedometer incorporates LCD window displaying fuel gauge, odometer, tripmeter and clock. The meter also has warning lamps for low fuel, fuel injection, low oil pressure and water temperature.
