DeDion overload-style rear suspension allows good unladen ride, yet is rugged and durable under maximum loads. Strong leaf springs and coil-over shock absorbers borrowed from the 3010 Diesel help control the additional loads expected in the 3010 Trans4x4. Square type receiver hitch is standard equipment. Hitch uses common 1_x1_ tongue available through hitch suppliers and Kawasaki accessories (p/n: KAF108A). Maintenance-free 18 amp/hr battery. Large battery tray accepts optional heavy-duty battery and bracket. Wiring harness is pre-wired for selected Kawasaki accessories such as windshield wiper, cargo light, speedometer (w/ oil press. Light), back up beeper, high output alternator, etc. Passenger-side glove box is standard for additional storage. Drivetrain shifters for Forward (high/low) Neutral Reverse, 2WD-4WD, and rear differential Lock/Unlock are conveniently located on the dash. DC Power Outlet on the dash, is 10 Amp (120W) rated, ideal for GPS, telephone, small work light, or other accessories. Other practical features located on the dash include: push-button style headlight switch, coolant temperature warning lamp, parking brake indicator, brake fluid level window, standard equipment hour meter and optional speedometer (with oil pressure warning).
