exhaust performance what s the story about a downpipe on some of our systems we offer a downpipe option on some systems a downpipe is part of the system design and on some systems we do not offer the downpipe as installation is physically impossible unless you want to first remove the motor all of our systems are catback with or without downpipe so performance starts close to the motor but after the catalytic converter the cat therefore the systems lltek sells are legal in terms of emission regulations as all systems utilize the factory cat unless stated otherwise a downpipe allows quicker turbo spool up and on non-turbo cars the oversized downpipe creates additional horsepower and further relieves back pressure 29 landscape space all systems are designed to fit correctly beneath the car with no welding or cutting generally installation takes about one hour and should be performed by a muffler shop to perform any needed tweaks or adjustment exhaust systems should not be installed
