welcome logwood is a luxurious three story 5,000 square foot red cedar log home that sits on the banks of the animas river in the beautiful north animas valley of durango we offer fall and winter specials a full breakfast is served each morning and afternoon snacks are available upon returning from a day of sightseeing in the four corners area logwood can accommodate groups of up to 20 people and is a terrific alternative to renting a vacation condo for your family reunion or group it is located only 8 miles from the north side of durango near the trimble hot springs and tamarron resort and is only 15 minutes south of durango mountain resort making logwood is the closest and the most convenient b&b to downhill and cross-country skiing in durango after skiing we are just 3 miles from trimble hot springs where you can soak or get a massage whether you re visiting in winter or summer you ll find an almost endless array of exciting things to do in durango and the four corners region dur
| king room our guest rooms all have log frame beds quilts private baths specialty soaps robes and a phone with voice mail there are three queen rooms and one king room on our couples only loft level there are two mini king suites on the main level with large bathrooms that have a soaker tub and separate shower with a vanity area each mini suite also has tv/vcr and a walk-in closet for those longer stays the lower level has a queen room with a tv/vcr and a king two room suite that will sleep a family of four there is a day bed with a trundle in the second room the rooms on the main level and the lower level all have private entrances all the rooms in the lodge come with full country breakfast and snacks each afternoon room rates range from $85 $175 ask about our fall and winter specials from november 1 may 15 winter activity packages available activities fall and winter · · viewing the colorful changes of the aspen leaves downhill skiing at durango mountain resort normally skiing begins
