If the main diaphragm is torn, you will need a replacement canister. If the main diaphragm is still in good condition, you can restore the canister to like-new operation with our 1969L-72 Actuator Rod Seal. 1970-71 (early) canister has a straight vacuum hose pipe. The 1971 (late)-72 canister has a curved pipe. These canisters may be used as workable replacements for 1969 by using the 1970-72 canister bracket 601-505. See diagram at right.
