If you are going to use new seat foam (strongly recommended), you must select seat covers with the 4" bolster. 2. If you are using your original seat foam, locate the end of the horizontal pleats (A, above) on your seat backs insert area. 3. Find the middle of the double stitching seam (B, above). 4. How To Select The Correct Size 1979-82 Seat Covers 1968-82 OEM Style Seat Covers in Vinyl or Leather Only top grade hides and high grade vinyls in original factory colors are used to manufacture our Seat Covers for 1968-82 Corvettes. All pieces are cut by hand for consistent pattern, grain and fit. We also recommend replacing the seat foam to insure longwearing covers with a perfect fit. Please state year and color code, (p. 188) when ordering. Note: 1973-82 covers consist of leather inserts with vinyl skirts as in original covers. 1968 covers have a basket weave pattern, 1969-75 covers have a comfort weave vinyl and 1976 covers have smooth vinyl.
