Our Side Yokes are spec molded of automotive-quality steel, high frequency fired and cooled to a hardness of 59 Rockwell, then polished and threaded to original GM specifications. The hardened tip resists wear and can save you the cost of future rear end alignments. Don't forget new seals and snap rings. Also see completion kits, at right. B 1963-79 Custom Hardened Side Yokes For High Performance Aircraft Quality Steel Nearly Twice the Rockwell Hardness of Stock Yoke Heat Treated and Drop Forged for Extra Strength Heavy Duty Style Includes Caps, Screws Snap Ring U-Bolt Style Requires Use of Existing Hardware or 602-962 U-Bolt The factory mate to these side yokes has recently been discontinued by GM. Every dimension is machined and ground parallel and horizontal to the center point of these parts. New seals required, available below. Also see completion kits below. Measure yoke at these outermost points (3 1/2" or 4 1/4") Professionally Rebuilt 1963-82 Rear Differential Units These Rear Differential Units contain all new seals, bearings and positraction clutch plates, rebuilt by certified GM rebuilders. Rebuilt units are within the manufacturers specifications and carry a one year warranty. All rebuilt rear differentials require a refundable $300.00 core charge. Cores must be rebuildable, complete, and contain no broken parts to qualify for full refund. No additional charge when ordering a rear ratio different than the core being exchanged. Please state year, transmission type, and width of front yoke: 3 1/2" or 4 1/4". See 601-964 602-528 below. Completion kit required for installation.
