Motorcycle Toolchest Catalog 2006 08-VACUUM Motion Pro (08-0252)Vacuummate Motion Pro The VacuumMate Allweather is a precise electronic four channel vacuum meter designed specifically for intake synchronization of carbureted or fuel injected multi-cylinder engines. In addition to its synchronization capabilities, the VacuumMate Allweather is the only tool of its kind to offer a Dynamic Mode that allows the technician to perform upper engine diagnostics by comparing the high and low points of the intake vacuum curve to detect potential upper engine problems such as intake leaks, valve leaks, air filter blockage and low compression. The VacuumMate Allweather is approved and recommended by Mercury Marine and the marine divisions of American Honda and Yamaha Motor Corp. USA. The latest version of the VacuumMate Allweather incorporates features specifically requested by OEM manufacturers to set-up and maintain the latest generations of four stroke multi-carbureted and multi-throttle body engines. APPLICATIONS: The VacuumMate Allweather is the ideal tool for working with multi-cylinder engines that have multiple carburetors or throttle bodies such as outboard marine engines, multi-cylinder motorcycles, multi-cylinder ATVs and multi-cylinder automobiles with multiple carbs or throttle bodies connected to individual cylinders. OPERATION: - Mercury free design allows operation in any position. - Water-resistant buoyant with a bright body color for on-board use in the marine environment. - Accurate to within 0.2 cm/Hg (centimeters of mercury vacuum) true resolution with no friction or inertia that is commonly associated with mechanical synchronization devices. - Electronic dampening averages vacuum readings, displays on a bright LED. - Four independent channels read cylinders simultaneously (6 cylinders require optional 6-Channel Adapter 08-0210). - Dynamic Mode allows detection of potential upper engine problems such as intake leaks, valve leaks, air filter blockage and low compression. - Includes 5mm and 6mm sets of unique flexi-rigid adapters to accommodate awkward threaded manifold connections. - Automatically self adjusts to barometric pressure changes.
