Made with external thin film epoxy coating on schedule 30 steel pipe, CSA approved, IAPMO listed, meets all D.O.T. requirements. These risers are supplied with NPT connections above ground and a 10 polyethylene pig-tail that is connected to your tubing underground. The underground connection is made to the PE 2406 Polyethylene tubing with the Con-Stab fitting to suit the specific application. This tube-to-fitting connection may be made to a tee, elbow or coupling depending on your application, allowing tubing to approach the riser from various or multiple directions. The flexible hose is attached to the steel portion of the riser with a transition that is stronger in tensile than the flex itself. Flexible risers provide the user with a design that permits variable ground level depths and eliminates the need for purchasing risers with various vertical lengths. The polyethylene tubing connection to this riser is made with simple hand tools by inserting the tubing through the riser and connecting it to the service head adapter at the other end of the riser. Ideal for tank to building installations between first and second stage regulators.
