MAXITROL MODULATING SYSTEMS
The GV30 Series Main Gas Combination Control incorporates full function which includes regulation and modulation of flow to main burner, with adjustable pilot flow, and a integrated piezo
ignitor and pilot safety system. Various models provide fully automatic or manual temperature
control of gas logs, space heaters, and other applications such as fireplaces. The GV30 Series
is a non-electric combination control which performs all the functions required to regulate and
control gas flow to an appliances main burner. It is suitable for use with all fuel gases and is
capable of a control range of 10,000 85,000 BTU/hr.
GV30 is configured for full modulation with temperature controlled main burner shutoff, GV31 on-off temperature controlled main burner, GV32 manually controlled main burner adjustment without shutoff, GV33 full modulation without temperature controlled main burner
shutoff, GV36 manually controlled main burner on-off low to high adjustment, and GV37 manually controlled main burner with snap action on-off.

Mertik GV30 Series Gas Combination Control
Mertik GV34, GV35 GV38 Remote Operated Gas Combination Controls
Remote Operated Gas Combination Controls GV34, GV35, and GV38 are battery powered combination controls that
need no external electrical power or powerpile to perform all the functions required to regulate, and provide motor
controlled gas flow to an appliances main burner. GV34 is configured for on-off low to high main burner function,
GV35 on-off main burner function, and GV38 full modulation with temperature controlled main burner shutoff
and motor controlled temperature set point.
The control is designed for use with a standard thermocouple and ODS
pilot, making it a viable alternative to a millivolt type valve. The flame
height is controlled by either a hand-held remote or hard-wired wall switch.
The ultrasonic remote uses a 9-volt alkaline battery while its receiver, as
well as the alternate wall switch, run on four AA alkaline batteries (not
included). In the event of a battery failure the flame height adjustment
knob may be operated manually so that the unit can continue to provide
supplemental heat.
Optional side outlet manual burner port, or side manual gas valve with low
to high, for decorative burner. Despite its compact size it is capable of a
control range of 10,000 85,000 BTU/hr. The main burner can be supplied
by both bottom and/or side outlets.
