The mechanical plating method is widely recognised as being free from inducing hydrogen embrittlement and enabling higher coatings of 25 microns or more to be applied to the fastener. Powers revolutionary Alzin 4 product has been designed to suit the harsh Australian conditions and to meet the requirements of the Australian Standard AS3566-2002, this new method of applying coatings provides a more aesthetic and more uniform finish with a high density rating. Alzin 4 is Powers Fasteners answer to severe marine and industrial environments and therefore is applied to all of our Hex Headed range that are installed in timber battens or steel purlins. Engineered to combat the extreme effects of salt, wind, and moisture, that are found in severe Australian marine and tropical environments, Powers Fasteners Alzin 4, represents a high quality corrosion resistance coating that we highly recommend where corrosive factors are most present. Alzin 4 is highly recommended for use where corrosive factors are most present including tropical regions, extreme industrial and marine environment, areas where chemical or agricultural spraying may be undertaken or any situation requiring high performance, premium quality corrosion resistant fasteners. COMPLETE INDEPENDENT TEST REPORTS ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST PHONE (03) 8787 5888 Alzin 4 corrosion coating from Powers Fasteners 58
