Delrin Frame Sliders Frame protectors are made from acetal delrin plastic in seven colors black, white, red, blue, lime green, purple, and yellow. Replacement bolts are supplied. Some protectors require fairing modification during installation. This is best done by first removing the fairing. Locate bolt hole to be used and replace with supplied bolt. If heat shield foam is not present, apply play dough to inside of fairing where cutting will take place. Put fairing back and see where bolt head has left an impression in the play dough or heat foam. This is the center of the hole to be drilled. Mark outside of fairing with tape to prevent chipping during drilling. Take a 2 inch hole saw and center around bolt head impression. Drill through fairing, then lightly file down the rough edges around the hole. Install protector and replace fairing.
