carbs fuel systems s&s ezfi induction options for s&s® fuel injected engines s&s offers two styles of fuel injection throttle bodies the original dual bore with individual intake tracts for each cylinder and the s&s single bore throttle body each of these systems offers the further option of either a tuned runner intake or a traditional s&s high flow teardrop air cleaner the tuned induction system has independent tuned length intake runners for maximum performance the s&s teardrop air cleaner provides excellent performance and a classic look right s&s vfi dual bore tuned induction system features dual independent tuned intake tracts one for each cylinder s&s tuned induction systems the tuned induction systems are for riders who are seeking the greatest possible performance gains from their fuel injected engines by utilizing air column inertia and carefully timed gas dynamic pressure waves the s&s vfi tuned induction systems ram additional air into the cylinders for increased power the most pronounced effect of this natural supercharging effect is increased midrange torque right where the street rider needs it most for maximum tunability and performance gains we recommend the s&s variable fuel injection vfi module but any compatible programmable module with enough capability and tuning range can be used above s&s single bore tuned induction system shown in black wrinkle powdercoat finish is also available in chrome and natural finish the single bore tuned induction system fits stock and s&s carburetors and stock delphi® efi throttle bodies see page 3-27 for more information upper curves show s&s vfi dual bore tuned induction system lower curves show s&s vfi teardrop induction system both tests were performed on a 1996 harley-davidson® road king® with a 124 v124 engine and supertrapp® 2 into 1 exhaust please see a word about dyno numbers on page a14 for important information regarding dyno charts presented in this catalog 5-5 visit us at www.sscycle.com
