equipment belonging to the College must be returned and
all loans or student obligations must be paid before the
Records Office will certify good standing or transmit
student records to another institution. Good standing
means that a students conduct has been satisfactory and
that he/she is eligible to continue or return.
A student unofficially withdrawn (without completing
proper withdrawal procedures) from a class or from College
will receive a grade of F in all courses from which he/
she unofficially withdraws.
Enrollment records are not maintained for students who
cancel their registration prior to the fourth week of the
semester.
NOTE: Withdrawal means dropping all classes; dropping refers to
selective drops while retaining one or more other courses.
(Priority 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). Some students will have to plan
their registration carefully so that their priority
enrollment is not greater than 16 units.

Introduction to basic manual drafting
skills. Teaches the student how to use
drafting tools, the development of line
work and lettering skills, procedures for
executing geometric construction,
techniques of free-hand drafting and
fundamentals of orthographic projections
and isometric drawing. (CSU/UC)

Computer Aided Drafting
(Formerly Industrial Education 56) 2 units/2 hours
lecture, 3 hours laboratory for 8 weeks. Prerequisite:
Applied Technology 55 with a grade of C or better

Introduction to computers as a graphics
tool by exploring the hardware, software
and their applications to drafting.

Admission to the Program
All students must be 18 years of age or older or must be
high school graduates or equivalent and meet the regular
requirements for admission to the College. High school
students currently enrolled in grades 9-12 may be eligible
for advanced scholastic or vocational studies through a
high school enrichment program.
Program Information
Completion of this certificate program prepares the
student to use the computer to perform advanced word
processing functions, adapt software to a variety of different jobs, and perform general office skills using critical
thinking and problem solving skills. Students will receive a
Certificate of Completion after completing all required
courses of the certificate program with a C or better.
Students who wish to earn an Associate Degree must
complete a total of 60 units including general education and
math competency requirements. If students wish to complete a degree in addition to t

Macintosh Excel software. Topics covered
range from the fundamentals of Excel's

Fashion Careers Program is open to all students.
Program Information
The Fashion Careers Program at Santa Rosa Junior College encompasses
many facets of the fashion industry which can lead to job opportunities in sales,
buying, fashion consulting, production, fashion coordination, starting your own
business, or management training. Executive training programs are offered by
regional and national chain stores for individuals who have completed an
Associate of Arts, Bachelors of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree.
Enthusiasm, ambition, and good interpersonal skills are important traits for
success in this field.

areas that are posted NO SMOKING.

on campus are in violation of State law
and College regulations.
Telephone Messages
The college is not prepared to
deliver telephone messages except in
case of emergency, such as sudden

Animal Control
1. No animals, including leashed,
are allowed on campus (including
buildings) with the following
exceptions:
a. Guide dogs for the blind.
b.Animals used in the
instructional program.
2. Owners of animals on campus in
violation of this regulation may be
