79 The Occupation The forest recreation program at Santa Rosa Junior College provides the student with employable skills after a two-year program. The courses are designed to provide practical training in park operation. Many of the classes use parks as their classroom. Candidates for the vocational forestry recreation curriculum should like working outdoors for sustained periods of time and like helping people enjoy the out-of-doors.
