Student Records: Right to Include Statement or Response to Disciplinary Action: Whenever there is included in any student record information concerning any disciplinary action taken by community college personnel in connection with the student, the student shall be allowed to include in such record a written statement or response concerning the disciplinary action. (E.C.Sec.76035) 1. The President shall, prior to the suspension or expulsion of any student, notify the appropriate law enforcement authorities of any acts of a student which may constitute an assault with a deadly weapon as set forth in Section 245 of the Penal Code of California (E.C.Sec.76032). 2. The President shall report all suspensions to the Board of Trustees of Santa Rosa Junior College (E.C.Sec.76031). 3. Suspensions and expulsions shall be so noted on the official records of those affected. 4. The standards and actions listed herein do not interfere with rules and regulations established by individual instructors regarding grading, attendance, and classroom expectations. Smoking Smoking is prohibited in classrooms, halls, laboratories, gymnasiums, auditoriums, Bailey Hall and in areas that are posted NO SMOKING. Drugs Persons possessing or being under the influence of alcohol, non-prescriptive narcotics or other dangerous drugs on campus are in violation of State law and College regulations. Telephone Messages The college is not prepared to deliver telephone messages except in case of emergency, such as sudden illness or accident. Animal Control 1. No animals, including leashed, are allowed on campus (including buildings) with the following exceptions: 260 Campus Regulations a. Guide dogs for the blind. b. Animals used in the instructional program. 2. Owners of animals on campus in violation of this regulation may be cited. Additionally, the animal may be impounded by authorized College officials or by the Sonoma County Humane Society Lost and Found Persons who find articles on campus are requested to deliver them to the Campus Police Office in Pedroncelli Center. Every effort will be made to return identifiable articles to their owners. Those who have lost articles are encouraged to make inquiries at the Campus Police Office. Student Parking A parking permit entitles parking on campus when space is available. At peak class periods (9:00 A.M. 1:00 P.M.) all lots may be full. Alternate methods of transportation are strongly encouraged. Parking any motor vehicle on campus during Fall, Spring and Summer semesters requires the purchase of a parking permit. Permits can be purchased at the Campus Police Office in Pedroncelli Center. EACH vehicle requires a permit. Information on traffic and parking regulations is available at the Campus Police Office located in Pedroncelli Center. Cars with no current permit and cars parked in violation of regulations will be cited. + BAILEY PARKING LOT. East side of Bailey Field. Entrance off of Mendocino Avenue. + ELLIOTT PARKING LOT. North of the Library and Liberal Arts building. Entrance off of Elliott Avenue. + BECH PARKING LOT West of Bech Hall, north of Kent Hall. Entrance from Armory Drive or Elliott Avenue. + QUINN PARKING LOT Located between Tauzer Gymnasium and Bailey Field. Entrance from Mendocino Avenue. + LOUNIBOS PARKING LOT South of the Lounibos Trade Tech building. Entrance off of Armory Drive. + SOUTHSIDE ROADWAY Connects Quinn Lot and Lounibos Lot. Student parking along roadway. + FRONTAGE ROAD Enter off Mendocino Avenue under archway. Student parking along roadway.
