fall semester. Students interested in preparing for the
program are encouraged to take ELEC 51A, 64A, and
APTECH 90A or a review course in either algebra or
a higher-level math course. Students should possess
mechanical and reasoning ability, and be able to work
independently. Mechanical drafting and electricity/
electronics courses in high school are encouraged.
Students should begin the Accelerated program by taking
ELEC 60A, 60AL, 90A and 64A.
