offerings allowing students to customize each degree based

AGRICULTURE
A.S. DEGREE OR CERTIFICATE
(FORMERLY GENERAL AGRICULTURE)
This broad-based degree/certi cate combines plant and soil
science, animal science and business in a hands-on approach
to prepare students for the workforce or for transfer to a fouryear institution. Students must ful ll major requirements and

ANIMAL SCIENCE
A.S. DEGREE OR CERTIFICATE

This degree/certi cate is a science-based program stressing
production and management of livestock. Students learn to
integrate business, animal production, plant production and
issues which face the animal protein production sector of
food production industry preparing them for the workforce
or for transfer to a four-year institution. Students must
