Wood framing is preattached for interior and exterior finishes. Stronger Wall: Allowable loads are two to three times higher than the original Strong-Wall . Unique Design: Resists distortion of the center section and results in sustained vertical load capacity. Simplified Installation: Fewer anchor bolts and SDS screws. Easy access at top and bottom for quick installation. Contractor friendly: Easy to use reversible template for concrete contractors and predrilled holes where electricians need them for wiring. Install Steel Strong-Wall flush to one face of framing and add furring to opposite side. NOTE: The Engineer of Record is responsible for concrete design. Maximum shim height between Steel Strong-Wall and top plates or header is using SDS x3 screws. For additional shim height, see ICC-ES ESR-1679. Attach to header or top plates with SDS x3 screws (provided) holes to attach optional blocking or framing Pre-attached wood studs 2x4 for 7'-10' walls, 2x6 for 11'-13' walls Holes predrilled for wiring Additional 1 " diameter holes allowed in wood stud at each obround hole Place Steel Strong-Wall over the anchor bolts. Install nuts (provided) Use 1 " wrench for nut. Use 1 wrench for 1" nut. DO NOT cut wall or enlarge existing holes!
