The benefits of installing our main studs are increased bearing life by preventing main cap walk, while giving additional strength to the bottom end of your engine. Studs will draw down more evenly producing better clamping force and because studs arent removed as often as bolts they provide less wear on block threads. All studs are thread rolled and machined from the highest quality heat treated 8740 chrome moly steel. All kits also include heat treated hex nuts and parallel-ground washers for proper installation. Recommended for street or competition build ups. Our big block main stud kits also include TA Exclusive features such as special 12 point nuts for the first main journal, custom length studs and proper thread lengths.
