However, how many would feel that training about the personal issues that can affect work performance is equally important? Behavioural Aspects of Driving As a significant factor behind more than 90% of accidents, human reliability should be understood and managed accordingly. Knowledge of the behavioural aspects of driving can help those behind the wheel keep calm and those in a supervisory capacity to recognise warning signs and take preventative measures. Who should attend? Anyone who drives and those with responsibility for vehicles and/or drivers and driver scheduling. The course is also appropriate for those with responsibilities for safety and health within the workplace. What will they learn? Improved driving techniques via a more positive mental attitude towards driving, and how to spot the early warning signs of mental states that may adversely affect driving. This awareness course will help avoid the pain and expense of a conviction for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Who should attend? With the help of quizzes,videos and demonstrations this interactive course will increase delegates knowledge and understanding of the effects of drugs and alcohol on driving ability. Course content includes: l How to measure alcohol in units l Safe, sensible and legal limits l Company drug and alcohol policies l Substances and the body l Dependence on substances l Group work. Personal Safety Held on clients premises this one-day course allows employers to actively increase the security of their employees, which in turn can boost confidence, morale and productivity. Persons who perhaps drive alone on a regular basis for work, or employees who are considered more vulnerable and may need extra support in order to do the job to the best of their ability. What will they learn? How to be more aware in their everyday driving environments, and to maintain safety by adopting logical, easy to follow instructions.
