Page 5 of Zentith Class by Zenithwinding the watch class el primero hw for optimal accuracy a manually wound watch must be wound every day class el primero automatic first steps when first starting the watch wind the crown at least 25 times so that it is fully wound watch stopped to operate correctly the watch must be worn at least 12 hours a day for a number of days if the watch is not worn for sufficient time it will stop and will have to be wound turning the crown at least 25 times accuracy under normal conditions an automatic watch has a margin of 4 or 5 minutes per month 36 for accuracy compared to a reference watch on request individual adjustments can be made by an authorized zenith agent a chronograph function start/stop press button a once to start the chronograph additional function the tachometric scale can be used to gauge the average speed per hour of a vehicle the figure displayed on the tachometric scale unit is in kilometers example when a vehicle goes past the starting post press button a first impulse when it passes the finishing post press button a again second impulse the chronograph hand will then display the speed per hour on the tachometric scale b setting the time pull the crown out one click check that the hands coincide with the date change at 12 midnight not 12 noon turn the crown in either direction to set the hands on the time required press the crown back in setting the date pull the crown out two clicks and turn it to the date required press a second time to stop it restart press button a again to resume timing reset once the chronograph has been stopped press button b to reset and bring the chronograph hand and counters back to zero 37[close] |
