A minimum of eight units in anthropology and sociology, following the programs of study outlined below: Anthropology--eight units including 105, 343, one course in anthropological approaches to the human past (241, 242 or 361), one course in cultural studies (310, 332, 362 or 366), and one course in an ethnographic area (254, 256, 263 or 248).
